It's a lighweight zoom with great optical performances. The mount procédure is perfectly described in the tutorial video uploaded on youtube by CINELUX. Well designed and fit 100%! Good job...
I really regret this purchase. First, an adapter was delivered that did not fit at all. After that, it had to be exchanged for a ring, which caused even more delays and unnecessary back-and-forth.
For a product that cost 367 euros, I expected much better quality control. On top of that, I had to pay an additional 77 euros in customs fees, which makes the whole situation even more frustrating. Paying such a high price and still receiving incorrect parts is unacceptable.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. Definitely not recommended given the price and the hassle involved.

Sorry to hear you were not happy with your experience with us.
We did initially send an incorrect shim with your adapter. Once we were aware of this, we sent out the correct shim. This meant you couldn’t use the adapter whilst we sent out the correct shim - for that, we apologise. We’ve improved our systems to stop this from happening again.
The product with the correct shim has been tested rigorously, and is a quality product.
In regards to the customs fees, sadly that is out of our control. We legally have to declare the value of what we’re shipping to another country. Until we’re a larger company and have more dispatch warehouses, sadly there’s nothing else we can do.
If you really are not happy with the product and your experience, we have a 30 day return window, which you can exercise if you like. If you’d like to keep the product, you can always email us, and we will help with any issues you may be faced with.

Top quality mag. Fits better than the original mini mags just for a start. I have now used mine for 6 months without any problems. It has become my go to mag and I can’t see myself buying any other mags again.
Fits and looks great. Cheaper than the old proprietary memory, with upgraded internals. Awesome job on extending the life and support of the old RED cameras.
used it on the first shoot and it does what it should. i believe offloading is faster than the original red mags

Works perfectly with all of my RED DSMC2 accessories — a match made in heaven with my Gemini, works in both my G-Raid and RED mag readers without a problem, just like it was made by RED. Price-per-gig is really great, and certainly better than just buying used, which is about the only other option these days. Seems like it has faster sustained write speeds for offloading compared to my OEM mags as well, which is much appreciated. I'm very happy that a company like CineLux is still creating new products for all of these older RED cameras. Much appreciated!
