These thumbscrews were custom made with the Cinelux DSMC mounts and adapters in mind.

But they were also designed to be compatible with the RED DSMC EF & PL lens mounts & provide a easier method of attaching them to DSMC1, DSMC2 & Ranger Cameras

FEATURE

Captive functionality

The thumbscrews are designed to work best with captive RED DSMC lens mounts, where the screws are securely held within the mount itself. While most RED mounts are of the captive type, some earlier versions were not.

FEATURE

Knurled Finish

The thumbscrews feature knurled grips for easy and quick lens swaps. By tightening the built-in knurled thumb grips, the lens can be securely mounted to the camera. Additionally, the thumbscrews include T20 Torx inputs, identical to the standard RED mount screws, ensuring the tightest possible fit when using a T20 Torx bit.
