Mount Conversion Kit

Convert your Fujinon MK 18-55mm and MK 50-135mm lenses for use on RED DSMC1 or DSMC2 with this unique user-replaceable mount kit. Designed specifically for Sony E-mount MK lenses, it replaces the original mount using the same 4 threaded holes found on RED bodies. The included thumbscrews are captive and knurled for fast, tool-free lens swaps. A clean, secure fit - no adapters or shims required.

Do I need to buy both kits?

Whilst both adapters are the same (apart from some differences with the light baffle), and interchanging them is possible, If you wish to use both lenses whilst on a shoot, we'd really recommend buying both kits.

Is it true Fujinon MK lenses were used in Avatar?

Sure is! If they're good enough for Cameron, hopefully they're good enough for you!
